Hello! I am Ms. Cohen and I am the Science lead at Kents Hill Infant Academy. I have a passion for Science, having spent my previous career as a successful forensic scientist. It is my goal to kindle the curiosity and share my knowledge among young minds. To sum it up in the words of Einstein, “The important thing is to never stop questioning.”
Science at KHIA
We have written our own scheme of work for Science to ensure that where possible, the National curriculum knowledge links to other subjects to help the chidlrne to rmemebr it. We have ensures that the children get lots of opporunities to conduct experiemnts and learn Scientific discplinary knowledge, which makes Science one of of chidlren’s favourite learning topics at KHIA!

National Science Week
Each year we take part in Science week and the RSPB big bird watch, involving our families at home.
This year the children had to make videos of science experiments in their kitchens!
