Religious Education (RE)

Mrs Thurston is our RE co-ordinator.

I’m the lead of RE at Kents Hill Infant Academy. I enjoy leading this subject . I enjoy helping children across the school have a diverse and cultural understanding of other faiths and religions so that, from an early age, we learn to have respect and tolerance of other’s beliefs in modern Britain.

We follow the Essex County Council SACRE scheme of work for RE. The junior school also follow this scheme of work, ensuring that our Kents Hill children have a contiuous learning journey from Nursery to Year 6.
