History
I’m Mrs Thurston and I am the History lead. Teaching history is like giving children a window to the past. As History Lead, I love being able to give our children the opportunity to understand how significant events of the past have shaped the world we live in today.
History at KHIA
History is linked to our pupils’ topics to ensure that they link their learning so that they remember it. We follow the National curriculum and have written a scheme that is knowledge-rich, including the disciplinary knowledge of being a historian.
